Petra has spent the last 12 years working with GPS technology in a health and safety capacity. She has been involved in the development and delivery of lone and remote worker solutions to clients ranging from Government Departments to small businesses; on a variety of networks and a range of risk environments. Her business, Guardian Angel Safety has over the last 8 years delivered solutions to over 5000 lone and remote workers in Australia and New Zealand including 30% of all NZ councils, Worksafe NZ and Suncorp Group Australia.

Petra is passionate about ensuring solutions implemented by companies is best fit for purpose and that the supporting processes and end-user training is delivered to a high standard. Solutions are often not stress tested until they are needed and at that stage, it’s all too late with dire consequences. Close enough is not good enough. Her passion for ensuring staff are as safe as they think they are and that companies are not wasting money on solutions that are simply not going to work in their environment has seen her in demand as a presenter to many industry organisations including NZISM, ALGIM, National Safety Show, Safety360 and Forestry Safety Summit. She facilitates workshops on lone worker solutions for EMA NZ and Local Government.
