Each month there will be a new topic to discuss, The topic will be announced closer to the date

Emergency Planning from a fire response perspective with a focus on Emergency Service Information packages.

The presentation will include:

Emergency Planning – Why is it important?
Legislative responsibilities for PCBUs and others.
How Emergency Planning Assist Emergency Services.
Emergency Service Information Packages.


Gavin Scott is a Fire Safety Officer in the Operational Liaison and Special Hazards Unit. Gavin engages with external stakeholder agencies and local commands on high priority risks in the built environment to improve the safety and confidence of firefighters.

Gavin has many years’ experience in Rescue and Aerial Firefighting, he has been a firefighter with Fire and Rescue New South Wales for 11 years, having worked all over the Sydney GSA, Central Coast and Newcastle Hunter region.

The Western Sydney and Central Coast Safety Group meeting is supported by Sean Bourke, from Design Safety Solutions
