Andrew Clarke is currently the General Manager of Health and Safety for CITIC Pacific Mining and is also appointed under the WHS (Mines) Regulations WA as the Site Senior Executive (SSE) for their Sino Iron Project located in the Pilbara region of Western Australia (WA).
Andrew has been involved with the health and safety profession for over 25 years working predominantly across the resources and construction sectors whilst also running his own boutique consultancy firms. Andrew has been a Chartered Professional Member of the AHIS since 2005, has a Graduate Diploma of OHS from ECU, and is currently completing a Master in Business Psychology at ECU. He also sits on the WHS Committee and WHS Legislation Working Group for the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia.
Andrew has previously sat on the WA Branch Committee (I can’t recall the exact dates but it was probably between 2006-7) and has returned to give more back to the profession with the AHIS being at the core of advancing and advocating for the WHS profession across the country.
