Committee Member
Bruce has been a member of the AIHS for over 20 years and holds a tertiary background in applied science (chemistry and environmental health), engineering, and environmental sciences. He brings extensive supervisory and management experience and has actively mentored WHS professionals both through the AIHS and in the workplace over the past several years. His career has taken him across most Australian states (excluding Victoria) and into third-world countries, providing diverse industry and cultural insight. Bruce is a Certified Chartered Professional Member of the AIHS, a Full Member of the AIOH, and is registered as a Statutory Supervisor and Site Senior Executive under WorkSafe WA (Mines) Regulations. He has also contributed to the profession as an AIHS committee member (2011–2012) and served for five years as an industry advisor on ECU’s Science Consultative Committee for the Southwest campus.
